GrassForce is actively engaged in ongoing research and development to improve management of Giant Rat’s Tail (GRT) grass across the Moreton Bay and South East Queensland regions. We are working in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF), the Department of Primary Industries (DPI), local governments, and community associations to evolve and refine treatment protocols that are effective, practical, and aligned with landholder needs.

Community Education: Through partnerships with PRCA and Upper South Pine and Cedar Creek Catchment Association, we offer workshops and field days to build collective action.
At a 40-acre property near Woodford, a landholder reduced GRT from near-complete coverage to minimal presence over years, using professional spraying, seeding, and cultivation. This restored pastures, supporting 20–60 cattle. Such results require expert planning—contact Grassforce to achieve similar outcomes.
GRT threatens Moreton Bay’s landscapes, but with the right approach, you can reclaim your property. Grassforce is here to guide you with resources, planning, and professional services.
